The next generation of footballers are back following the pandemic and have got off to a flying start. CPD Bangor’s Ladies and Girls Football Club received sponsorship from Griffiths to help cover the cost of brand-new kits for the under-9s team.
Griffiths who have a North Wales office in Porthmadog, and working on projects across North Wales were approached to see whether they could help the team.
Dani Pickstock, the team manager said:
“We received a generous donation towards our new kits, as the girls are growing so fast, our old kit needed replacing. We are very grateful to Griffiths for the donation, which has allowed us to purchase a new kit for the girls to use in all of their matches. We’ve been able to purchase a full set of shirts, shorts and socks for each of the girls on the under-9s team and they look amazing.”
Public Liaison Officer for Griffiths, Rich Foxhall said:
“We pride ourselves on supporting the communities in which we work, and we recognised that the club plays a very important role in the local area. We’re delighted to be able to provide the under-9s team with a brand-new kit which will hopefully be a lucky one. It’s been an incredibly hard period for non-profit organisations and we’re more than happy to help. The new kit looks fantastic, and we wish the girls a successful forthcoming season.”
